All Education programmes of the University of Derby were assessed in 2012 by the Ofsted (Office for Standards in Education), the higher independent body for the assessment of Education study programmes in the United Kingdom, which rated them with ‘outstanding’, the highest possible rating that can be given to an organisation.
The Mediterranean College Business School of is one of the first and among the leading Business Schools in Greek private higher education. It works as a community of active researchers and educators, offering a number of selected undergraduate, postgraduate and CPD courses in collaboration with the University of Derby and other, well-respected awarding bodies.

The School of Computing at Mediterranean College collaborates with the University of Derby and provides Bachelor’s and Master’s courses under a franchise academic agreement between the two institutions.

Moreover, being a registered Cisco Networking Academy gives our students the opportunity to obtain highly sought-after CCNA and CCNP certifications along with their studies.
The School of Tourism & Hospitality at Mediterranean College has the vision to contribute in the improvement of services provided by Greek hospitality enterprises and in strengthening the competitive edge of Greek tourism worldwide. In order to achieve our mission, we provide the industry with highly skilled professionals, both at theoretical and practical level. Our aim is that every hospitality enterprise, regardless of its size, can have access to well-educated and professionally trained human resources.
In this context, we offer a selection of contemporary and innovative university courses, in collaboration with the University of Derby, among the top Universities in the UK for Tourism & Hospitality Studies (TOP-6, Guardian University Guide 2017). All courses focus on developing applied knowledge and practical skills through experiential learning and case study analysis, in partnership with well-known industry professionals and through internship opportunities in leading hotels.
The School of Engineering at Mediterranean College has been operating since 2005, opening the way to the provision of Engineering higher education courses in Greece. Currently, the School offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Civil and Mechanical Engineering through a collaborative agreement with the University of Derby and is the first private School in Greece to offer undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Mechanical Engineering.
The content of the programmes is adjusted to the needs of the Greek and European market, so as to ensure that students acquire relevant and applicable knowledge for their professional practice. The high caliber of the teaching staff and the School’s wide network of partner companies lead to an enriched learning process, where the latest industry developments and research findings are incorporated in teaching.
In recent years, Health Professions evidence positive employment prospects in Greece, while giving graduates the flexibility to work in a variety of settings. The School of Health Professions at Mediterranean College was established in order to provide the health industry with professionals who have in depth theoretical knowledge, combined with clinical training in contemporary approaches and integrated professional skills, which are considered absolutely essential in today’s job market.
Our programmes are based on the UK higher education system, which emphasises on both research and the professional development of students. This is achieved through the methods of assessment used in the courses, as well as through the rigorous clinical placement framework in units of the private health sector (hospitals, clinics, health centres). Delivering the programmes in Greek and English language ensures that our graduates are highly competitive and flexible to meet the international job market requirements.
